Face Card Face cards are Jacks, Queens & Kings. Each has a value of 10.
Face-up Card The face-up card is the first one dealt to the dealer. The player can use it to assess how strong the dealer's hand is and hence adjust their strategy accordingly.
First Base The first seat to the left side of the dealer.
Flat Bet To wager the same amount each hand, without variation.
Flat Betting To bet the same amount of cash on each bet made during a playing session or part of a playing session.
