Fallsview Casino Incident

It’s a bizarre incident that started with a wild man accused of going on a rampage that ultimately led to him beating a couple of family members.  This story began at approximately 2am Tuesday morning in Niagara Falls. Police media officer constable Nilan Dave states that the accused had driven to a home where apparently his 45 year old sister or sister in-law and her 21 year old son lived and proceeded to attack them with a weapon intent on causing bodily harm to both occupants.

The woman was fortunate to escape to her driveway and her shrieks of help were heard by neighbors who quickly alerted authorities and the attacker fled just before local police arrived. The woman and her son were lucky to escape without life threatening injuries even though they were badly beaten up. The wild man then sped to another family home where he deliberately smashed into another vehicle before he then took off with police in hot pursuit.  
 
This car chase took them about 4 kilometers in the direction of the “Fallsview Casino” where the driver drove his pick up truck directly at the front doors of the casino and literally crashed through the front of the atrium at a high speed landing over 20 meters into the gaming floor missing hundreds of patrons who had to dive out of the way! Charged with several counts of attempted murder it will be a while before this guy sees a live casino again!
