Former NFL Player Attacks Woman in Casino Lobby
Former NFL safety Tebucky Jones has recently been charged with breach of peace and fourth-degree sexual assault. According to Connecticut police, Jones was arrested after he had allegedly made inappropriate contact with a female casino player in the lobby of the Mohegan Sun casino. Afterwards, the suspect and the woman's companion started an altercation during which Jones punched his opponent in the face.
A third man was also involved in the casino lobby fight. Mark Chichester, the third participant in the incident, was apprehended for breach of peace. Thus far, Jones' motives for attacking the woman have not been disclosed.
33-year-old Jones is best known for playing in the New England Patriots team that won Super Bowl XXXVI in 2001. He has also played for the Miami Dolphins as well as the New Orleans Saints. Jones attended New Britain High School in New Britain, Connecticut. In 1993, he was crowned the USA Today Connecticut State Football Player of the Year. Further details about Jones' casino fight are yet to be released.
