Girls Gone Wild Creator Sued by Wynn Las Vegas Casino
Joe Francis, the creator of the scandalous ‘Girls Gone Wild' series, is now being sued by a Las Vegas casino. The 35-year-old soft porn powerhouse is being taken to court over an alleged gambling debt of $2 million from February, 2007. Francis' spokesman Ronn Torossian was reported as saying that his client had already settled all his debts with the Wynn Las Vegas casino.
However, Wynn Las Vegas spokeswoman Jennifer Dunne reportedly said that the suit demanded the remainder of the $2.8 million loan granted to Francis in the previous year. According to the gaming resort, the businessman only paid $800,000 out of the entire amount.
Nevertheless, Francis denied the fact that he had any monetary debt to the casino. He said that Wynn had chosen not to honor their promise to apply certain discounts to services they had already been paid for. Unfortunately, Dunne did not share Francis' perspective on the matter and said that they had filed the lawsuit only after all attempts to reach an agreement with Francis had turned out to be a complete failure.
