Idaho Authorities Look for Coeur d'Alene Casino Bomb Threat Suspect
Authorities in Ohio are currently asking for help locating a woman who phoned in a bomb threat to a local casino establishment. Following the woman's phone call, the staff at Coeur d'Alene Casino and Hotel was forced to evacuate all the guests for several hours. The woman reportedly said that a number of bombs were placed in the facility and that they were expected to detonate shortly.
The casino security staff contacted local police and bomb-sniffing dogs were brought in to examine the area. Fortunately, the alarm turned out to be false. No explosives were found on the premises of the casino.
Commenting on the incident, police Chief Keith Hutcheson was reported as saying that although the woman's identity was still a mystery for the authorities, she would soon be apprehended. It was also announced that the unknown woman, who was believed to be in her twenties, faced charges of threatening to wreck an occupied building. This is a federal offense. Anyone with info on the suspect should contact Kootenai County police.
