Introduction to Sic Bo
Sic bo (meaning 'dice pair'), is an ancient Chinese gambling game commonly played in Southeast Asia, Korea, Nevada and Australia. The Chinese also call it Tai Sai or Dai Siu, meaning 'Big Small.' In the Philippines, where it's also very popular, it's known as 'Hi-Lo." Sic bo was brought into the US by Chinese immigrants in the early 20th century and today can be found in most American casinos and online gaming sites.

Played with three dice, the object of the game is to select the individual numbers, or combinations of numbers, that will appear on the dice after the 'throw.' The possibilities include single dice numbers, 2-of-a-kind, 3-of-a-kind, or combinations of any 2 or 3 of the dice. Payoff combinations and payoff odds are listed on a roulette-style table top that is often lighted from underneath in winning areas of the layout to indicate winning combinations.
To play Sic bo, players start by making their selection of a possible outcome & place a wager on a chosen possibility. Once all the bets are in, the dice tumbler is rotated and then set on the table.
