Okay, now's the time to let loose and pamper yourself like you've never done before. We're talking blatant and unadulterated decadence here.
A good rule is to take say 5%-10% of your winnings and splurge on things you've always wanted such as ridiculously expensive meals, wines, cigars etc. etc. You name it. But just enough to get over yourself and your new-found wealth. Only after you've purged your system of this wild appetite to consume can you then soberly plan your future spending and investing. Mindless consumption will only leave you feeling empty and unfulfilled. Yeah, it may be fun for a night or two or seven, but it will never satisfy your soul nor sustain any feelings of accomplishment in the long run.
So go ahead a waste some of your winnings if only "because you can," and enjoy some momentary financial irresponsibility and decadent living. Then, once you've gotten your ya-ya's out, get back to focusing on securing your future financial security.
