Playboy Founder Enjoys Birthday Party at Las Vegas Casino

Hugh Hefner, the founder as well as Chief Creative Officer of Playboy Enterprises, recently celebrated his 83rd birthday at the Palms Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to a recent report, Hefner was accompanied by his current girlfriends, Crystal Harris and sisters Karissa and Kristina Shannon.

Although the list of Hefner's guests was kept a secret, eyewitnesses were reported as saying that the Palms Resort & Casino owner George Maloof attended the joyous event. The birthday boy ultimately ended the celebrations with a private gathering in his hotel suite.

Hefner launched Playboy, initially called Stag Magazine, back in 1953. The first playmate featured in the publication was actually Marilyn Monroe. The notorious entrepreneur was married twice, to Mildred Williams and Kimberley Conrad, and has four children. His youngest son, Cooper Hefner, is now eighteen years old.
