Casino Company PokerStars Opens New Poker room in Macau

Industry-leading gaming company PokerStars today opens a new live poker venue at the Grand Lisboa Casino in Macau. According to company officials, PokerStars Macau is the largest poker room across Asia boasting 22 tables for premier Texas Hold 'em poker tournament entertainment and round-the-clock cash games.

PokerStars Macau will stage the largest regular weekly poker tournaments as well as the yearly Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Macau Poker Festival. The poker room will also offer freeroll tournaments for players of all levels, beginners and pros alike.

Joe Hachem, a highly accomplished poker pro, was quoted as saying, "PokerStars is committed to the development of poker across Asia, and this new room will be its heart.
