In fact...
Slot machines do not have any rhythm. Also, the world is round.




Myth #3
Hot or cold coins will more likely yield better returns.

In fact...
The temperature of a coin doesn't matter. It also doesn't matter how much time has elapsed since the coin was last played.




Myth #4
Slot machines are programmed to run through a cycle of payoffs. Though the cycle can span thousands of spins, once it reaches the end the outcomes will repeat themselves in precisely the same order as the previous cycle.

This is total BS. Each trial is totally random & independent of all past trials.




Myth #5
Slot machines are programmed to pay off a particular percentage of money wagered. Hence, after a jackpot is hit, the machine will tighten up to get back in balance. Also, when a jackpot has not been hit for a long time, it is overdue & more likely to hit.

In fact...
The only part of this that is factual is that slot machines are designed to payoff a particular percentage. However the laws of probability dictate that the longer a machine is played, the closer it'll come to its target payoff, even with each trial being totally random. A jackpot is equally as likely to be hit on each spin, regardless of past outcomes.




Myth #6
Machines pay more when players do not use a player card.

In fact...
The system that determines the outcome of every individual play does not consider whether a card is used or not. Not considering cash back & comps, the odds are identical with or without a player card.
