Casino Giant Steve Wynn to Undergo Divorce

It was recently reported that prominent U.S. casino resort developer Steve Wynn is headed for divorce once again. Clark County District Court spokesman Michael Sommermeyer was reported as saying that ElaineWynn, Wynn's soon to be ex-wife, has filed divorce papers.

The casino mogul and his wife were married for over forty years. They initially tied the knot in 1963. The Wynns were briefly divorced from 1986 to 1991 and then remarried. Although the reason behind ElaineWynn's resolution to get a divorce has not yet been disclosed, some say that it was because Steve Wynn left her for a younger woman from the UK.

As of 2008, 67-year-old Wynn is the 277th richest person in the world with a capital of $3.9 billion. His construction company built some of the most prominent land-based gaming destinations in Las Vegas, including The Golden Nugget, Bellagio and Wynn. Elaine Wynn, 66, is a director on her husband company's board.
