Trump Entertainment Resorts to Open Casino in Panama?
According to a recent report, prominent casino-hotel company Trump Entertainment Resorts, Inc. is planning to build a new gaming facility in Panama. Company CEO Mark Juliano was reported as saying that the new casino would form part of a $400 million resort development project.
The planned gaming venue will become the company's first casino outside the U.S. Trump Entertainment Resorts currently operates three casinos in Atlantic City, Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino as well as Trump Marina Hotel Casino.
Juliano reportedly added that the deal was still under negotiation and is expected to provide Trump Entertainment Resorts with much-needed financial flexibility. The company is the sole vehicle via which Donald Trump conducts gaming activities and is completely separate from his real estate operations.
